Moinho de bolas

Utilizados em indústrias como a mineração e o processamento de minerais, os moinhos de bolas são máquinas de moagem que pulverizam materiais. Utilizam esferas de aço para moer materiais britados num pó fino, normalmente com um tamanho de partícula entre 20 e 75 micrómetros. Os tipos de grelha e de transbordo são configurações comuns de moinhos de bolas.


The ball mill is a horizontal grinding mill with an external gear and two internal compartments (bins). Material is fed through a quill shaft into the first bin, lined with either ladder or ripple liners and containing steel balls of varying sizes.  Rotation of the mill creates centrifugal force, lifting the balls and causing them to impact the material as they fall, achieving a grinding effect. The partially ground material then passes through a diaphragm into the second bin, lined with flat liners and containing smaller grinding media, for further size reduction. Finally, the finished product is discharged through an output board.

What is ball mill?
