Although the amount of these raw materials added is not much (generally about 3%), the performance of the slurry has been greatly improved, and the green rate of semi-finished products has been significantly increased.
Fifteen to twenty years ago, quartz, feldspar and other high-quality conventional raw materials were generally used in the mud formulation. These raw materials are all bulk materials, and the production enterprises need to sort, crush and crush them. But now it is developing to use powdery raw materials, and now the use of pure quartz, feldspar and other raw materials is less and less, but some sandstone, quartzite, porcelain stone and other raw materials are used. In addition, at present, the mud formulation system is developing in the direction of multiple types and small proportion of raw materials. The original mud formula was generally composed of eight or nine kinds of raw materials, and now the number of varieties has reached fourteen or fifteen. Such a formula system, even if the composition and quality of a certain raw material change, will not affect the stability of the entire mud performance, which is a more scientific and reasonable approach.
