The Tunnel kiln is primarily employed in the production of sanitary ware plants, as well as the initial and subsequent fire of large toilets, basins, and other ceramic items.
The effective volume ranges from 30-120 m3, and it may be customised to meet the needs of each customer.
The tunnel kiln for sanitary ware is a continuous production kiln, characterized by high production capacity, stable product quality, and lower energy consumption compared to intermittent kilns. Tunnel kilns are divided into two main types based on combustion methods: self-suction type and rotary flame type. They are also categorized into high temperature and medium temperature types based on the operating temperature. The structure of tunnel kilns varies, with the kiln roof being either a flat suspended ceiling or an arch structure. The lining materials can be lightweight or heavy-duty refractory bricks, and the external structure can be a steel frame or built with red bricks.
