The batching and weighing section of a ceramic plant needs to be able to facilitate the accurate preparation of the ceramic mix. The ceramic mix typically consists of a number of raw materials, each of which needs to be appropriately prepared and proportioned before being fed to the mills for grinding.
This section consists of loading hoppers or boxes of various types and shapes (where raw materials are loaded immediately by a mechanical lifter with a drive-on operator), weighing modules and batching operation controls, which may be more or less sophisticated, and finally, by a number of conveyor belts conveying the prepared raw materials to the grinding mills.
